Gmail For Android Hits 1 Billion Installs

Hours back, a senior vice president at Google, Sundar Pichai, posted on his Google Plus page, "Great to see the Gmail App on Android just crossed 1Billion installs!!"
This really should not be much of a surprise considering the rate at which the company (Google) has grown in the past years. The mail service was launched way back 2004 and fast forward 10 year after, the service is what most people use, at least as an alternative email if not the major.

The app's page on Google Play store now reads "1,000,000,000 - 5,000,000,000" installs.

However, the team managing the service seem not to be resting on its oar, as a recent report reveals that the mail will soon wear another look.

Ok, now let's see how many Gmail fans we've got. So, If you are for Gmail say "yea" and those against say "nay."

Let's who will have it.
