Beyoncé Nominated for Webby Awards


Beyoncé, Ellen DeGeneres, Google, GoPro has appeared in the list of nominees for this year's Webby awards. Wondering how those characters match? Well, Webby awards is an award for excellence on the Internet presented annually by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Categories include websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile. 

The organizations with the most nominations are Vice Media with 11, The New York Times with 10, and Google Inc. with nine. Among the online videos nominated is "24 Hours of Happy," a 24-hour music video starring Pharrell Williams. Jay Z's album rollout with Samsung was nominated for its interactive media campaign.

The winners of the 18th annual awards will be announced April 29. Webby categories are split into a regular award, chosen by the academy, and a "people's voice" award, which lets members of the public vote.
