Google Slashes Prize On Its Cloud Storage

Google drive has been around for up to two years now providing cloud storage services as well as some few other apps like docs, forms, etc. With this service, it is easier to keep all your files (doc, csv, pdf, jpg, etc.), view and even edit without having to download the file and then launch using another software. Of course, you can also get access to it anytime and anywhere as long as you are connected to the internet.

Last week, Google reviewed the pricing plans for the service. The Google Drive team posted on their blog that the monthly storage plans which used to be $4.99 for 100GB, $49.99 for 1TB is now as low as $1.99 for 100GB, and $9.99 for 1TB. Did you say ridiculous? Well, the price review will definitely give Google a competitive advantage.

So, what do you think about the price review? Share it in the comment box.

  1. Wow the price slashing is amazing...healthy and strategic competition with others who render same service...looks so gud to be true
